Feelin' Blue

After a long, slightly miz day at work my friends and I headed to Blue- hands down my favorite restaurant. Even though I'm a vegetarian sushi remains one of my favorite foods, and Blue has wonderful veggie sushi rolls. We are pretty much weekly customers and I'm dreading leaving this little wonder behind when i head back to California! Today I was appropriately dressed for our dinner date in a fabulous blue power skirt, wooo.

Ingrid Michaelson 7/9/10

Aside from fashion I'm hoping to post a lot of concert pictures on this blog. Last week I had the pleasure of seeing Ingrid Michaelson for the third time...she is as crazy and wonderful as ever. The Slowdown was PACKED and since we had already seen her twice from the front row, we decided to take it easy and relax aways back. Which made for lovely concert-going, but slightly shitty pictures. My apologies.

Jason Reeves...essentially a Jason Mraz look/sound alike. Although the song 'Wishing Weed' definitely had its merits.

"I should tell you that you were my first love" - instructed heart choreography during "The Hat". Although some people's hearts looked more like goggles, it was still adorbs.

"You and I"- Ingrid and the whole gang.

I love the Slowdownnnnn.

Divine Florals

my great-grandfather once said, "There is appropriateness in decorating idols of the Divine with flowers, for flowers are the prettiest of God's creation. In fact, I see more of God in flowers than in the idols which are decorated with them." John Galliano truly created something divine with the Fall 2010 Christian Dior couture show- enveloping the models in taffeta and silk, transforming them into floral beauties. It will soon become apparent that i LOVE flowers, and therefore cannot stop obsessing over this show!

new camera, new blog

the title pretty much says it all. i impulse bought a camera the other day after class and its only fitting that my first post is also about an impulse purchase, or rather...several impulse purchases. i'm becoming more and more addicted to essie nail polish as each day passes and seeing as its sold one floor down from me it is the perfect way to spend my 15 minute breaks. this is becoming a very expensive habit, very quickly...
